The Sound of Freedom

A Personal Story

“Let’s go… NOW.”

My husband’s mood had drastically changed since I had left the table to take my daughters to the restroom. Only minutes before, our young family was laughing and chattering in a small restaurant of a quaint town located along the Oregon coast.

But now, upon returning to the table, he met us midway, stopping us in our path back to the table. An uncharacteristic squeeze of his hand on my bicep indicated a sense of urgency. I turned to look into his eyes for a sign of what could have caused his now lowered voice and stern demeanor.

Once at a safe distance down the road from the restaurant, my husband could no longer ward off my questioning look.

In a hushed voice, as to not awaken our children napping in the backseat, he whispered with a look of disturbance in his eyes.

“The man at the bar… he offered to… buy them.” It was an effort for him to say the words as he gazed at the road.

My brain did not compute what my ears had just heard.
”He what?”, I grappled with disbelief.

“He offered to pay me five grand for Mira”, his voice cracking with suppressed emotion, his hands gripping the wheel of the car. “At first, I thought he was joking. But he wasn’t… joking.”, his voice now trailing off.

I stared at him in silent shock as a chill of fright cascaded up my spine.

Later that night, once our children were tucked in safe and asleep in their bed, my husband filled me in on the details of the horrifying solicitation.

As he relayed the story, I recalled in my mind’s eye the older gentleman sitting at the bar. Nicely groomed, well dressed, leather shoes, designer watch. As he drank his beer, he would occasionally look over at our family’s table and smile. He seemed entertained by our young family’s boisterous activity and conversation.

“He told me that I am young and can have plenty more children if I want." My husband shook his head trying to shake off the emotional whirlpool of anger, fright and shock. We stared at one another trying to fathom how someone could solicit this kind of offer.

$5,000 cash.
”You will never have to worry about her again. She’ll be taken care of.”

The mere thought of that man near my eldest daughter, only seven years old, sent another chill up my spine. And a flush of anger began to burn my face.

My husband and I held each other closer, tighter that night. And we kissed our sleeping children multiple times as we checked on them throughout the night, grateful for their safety. We considered ourselves lucky, blessed, fortunate - as if we had dodged a terrifying turn of events.

The Sound of Freedom

But some are not so lucky, blessed and fortunate. Child trafficking is very real. And it is EVERYWHERE. Even in a small coastal town of northern Oregon. It affects us ALL.

According to The International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children, MILLIONS of children go missing every year. That is why the Sound of Freedom movie is so very important - to bring the awareness of child trafficking to the masses. As consciously awakened Souls, we can and MUST put an end to it.

There is no child trafficking in New Earth.

As described in the book of Robes, children are seen as precious gifts of Life in New Earth. They are nurtured, encouraged and cared for as representatives of the future, as they are indeed. This is why the topic of child trafficking is finally surfacing in mass consciousness - to be addressed and cleared, collectively. Humanity cannot continue to rise and unify in its evolution of consciousness while the sanctity of human life remains desecrated in the collective shadow. We cannot move into the elevated frequencies of New Earth while the lower frequencies of child trafficking are activated within our collective energy field. We must face this lurid, hidden truth to transmute it - to purify what needs and is ready to be cleansed.

That being said, I ask that you please support this movie. Go see it. Take your family or a friend to go see it. Pay for an extra ticket so that others who can’t afford one can see it. And tell others about it. Share it on your social media. Write to your congressmen and women. Urge presidential candidates to address it on their platform. Do whatever you feel compelled to do to help bring awareness to this very important topic. Thank you.

Since my brush with child trafficking in 2005, my alarm has been activated. When I’m traveling or out in public, I feel alerted to children who might be in an unsafe situation. I ask that you do the same. Turn on your alert signal. Pay attention not only to your own children but to all children around you. Together, we can keep them safe and end the terror of child trafficking.
