Healthy Boundaries Check List
YOU are the only one who gets to decide how you want to be treated.
Be clear in your communication on what behavior IS and is NOT acceptable.
Notice whether or not someone’s actions match their words. When someone shows you who they are, believe them.
Get used to saying, “That is not acceptable” to those who repeatedly encroach upon your boundaries.
Watch closely for proof of changed behavior.
Praise good behavior.
Do NOT reward unacceptable behavior.
If someone cannot act with acceptable behavior, deny access.
Make healthy boundaries non-negotiable. No second, third or gazillionth chances.
“Sometimes love begins with saying no.”
